  I am moving from a basic blog & want to move my blog posts to the portfolio view in the Illustratr template. How do I go about doing this? I have already set my landing page as static, I just need to know how to transfer the content to this format.

  There is no easy way of changing posts to projects. The projects must be created one at a time, by copying and pasting the content, tags, etc. from each post editor to a project editor.

  The Illustratr theme does not display a grid of posts on a page with the Portfolio Page Template assigned, it displays portfolio projects.

  Oh man, I am your guardian angel !!

  I have just done this very thing yesterday and written up a Word document on how to do this step by step!

  I haven’t changed any posts to portfolios, what I have done is created 6 portfolios that are the 6 main areas of the site. Then copied the text from those 6 pages. This isn’t ideal and I was about to post how do I go about getting rid of that duplication. Other than that, I am really happy with the site – http://www.worthparish.org

  Actually I have just figured out how not to get duplication, so I’m happy !
  I looked at your blog and I see my solution may not suit you as you have so many front portfolio items…. but for 6 or so, I have a guide if anyone wants it.
