Illustratr Portfolios

    Hi, I’m on the process of setting up my site and I’m using the Illustratr theme. I’m trying to place a Portfolio inside a Portfolio, so I thought of using the Portfolio shortcode:

    e.g. [portfolio display_types=true display_tags=false include_tag=january-2014 columns=2

    The problem is the navigation at the bottom of the page gets in the way, so that I can’t click the link or the image of the portfolio. As a result, I can’t get inside the post.

    Here’s the page: https://isithiorhey.wordpress.com/portfolio/january-2/

    Try clicking on Home or LA; the link doesn’t work.

    I tried to inspect it further and found out that indeed the navigation gets in the way. The navigation div kinds of stretches to cover the links. I can fix it using CSS but as it’s a free theme I can’t. think this is also a bug of the Illustratr theme, or maybe I’m just doing something wrong? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

    Hi there.

    Thanks for the bug report! I was able to replicate and have reported this back to the theme’s author.

    While we wait to hear back on a more permanent fix, I’ve enabled CSS customisation on your site and added the following CSS to patch things up for now:

    .site-main .post-navigation {
    position: static;
    }

    Let me know if you have any trouble with that! I’ll let you know when I hear back from the theme’s author also.

    Hi there!

    I’m happy to report that the issue you described in this thread’s been fixed by the theme’s author, and you’ll no longer require the custom CSS I added for displaying portfolios inside of portfolios. :)
