  I am IT illiterate and wanting to increase the size of my tagline in my illustratr theme! is there an easy way to do it? many thanks

  Hi. If you add the following line of custom CSS you can specify the font size. You can alter the 1.73em value until you are happy with the size.

  .site-description {
      font-size: 1.73em;
  }

  thanks so much for replying. I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong (simply cutting and pasting what you put – also tried it with a bigger number e.g. 1.9 – then pressing save and publish), but nothing is happening. Am I doing it right? thanks

  If you are on the WordPress.com Premium Plan

  Select Appearance > Customize > CSS from your Admin Dashboard and enter the custom CSS there.

  Cutting and pasting should work just fine.

  Hi @lizgdc, since you are using custom fonts, we have to use a slightly different CSS selector. Change
  .site-description
  to
  .wf-active .site-description
