Illustratr theme: design flaw when scaling to mobile

  I’m using the Illustratr theme, and it seems to have a design flaw when scaling to mobile. It stretches or something and includes an extra bar to the righthand side that overlaps my content (particularly the site header). Does anyone have a fix for this? I haven’t added any custom padding or margins, but I’m not sure how to adjust to compensate.
