I am now an administrator on my sisters blog, apron2apronsisters.wordpress.com and have created a username and password but am still unable to post anything. Why?

The primary username is Rachelwonders, that is used by the creator, my sister, Rachel. But there are 6 other sisters, myself included, who were asked to be administrators and as I accepted the invite I was told to create my own user name. The username I chose was justice sisters. But I can’t seem to post on this blog. The blog comes up but there is no dashboard.

Could you please ask your sister to try inviting justicesisters to the site again, now that you’ve created an account? Or have her reply here in this thread while logged into the rachelwonders account, giving me permission to add justicesisters as an administrator manually. It doesn’t look like your sisters were added to the site, either. If she wants to give me all 6 usernames here, I can add them all manually as admins, or with a different user role such as editor, if she provdes the details here.

Just a note on Admin’s – having many Admin’s has been a problem at times – an Editor can do everything an Admin can do except delete a blog or change themes – so it is safer to not have many Admin’s

Can we, the 6 other sisters, be switched to Editors by you then? We would love to post on our own. My sister is logged in now as rachelwonders and has given you permission to add us all in. What will you need from us? We would like to our username to be justicesisters1 thru 6 if possible. Is this something we will need to do on our own?

But each sister needs to create her own account – no blog required – just an email is required for an account

quick question. My sister has a couple of other blogs (picturesbyrachel etc..) but does not wish us to be Editors to those ones, when she gives us access to apron2apronsisters will that give us access to her other blogs as well?

This is what you need to do:
1) Have your sisters each create their own accounts. Each account needs to be connected to a unique email address and needs to be confirmed before it’s active.
2) Have your sister make a post here in this thread, while logged in on the rachelwonders account, saying something like “I give permission to add justicesisters1, justicesisters2, justicesisters3, justicesisters4, justicesisters5, and justicesisters6, as Editors on the site apron2apronsisters.wordpress.com.”
Once those two things have been done, I can take of this for you!

No, you won’t have access to any other sites, just apron2apronsisters.wordpress.com if that’s what your sister wants.

I’m the sister, original admin/creator of apron2apronsisters and I give permission to add justicegirls as an Editor to my site apron2apronsisters.wordpress.com. This is for one of my sisters. I am currently trying to get with the others to activate and accept my invite, we are playing phone tag right now but would love your help with the set up once they are activated.

Hello, I have the final 4 emails for my sisters. (the 5th does not have an email, so one of the other sisters who live near her will help her out using their computer). Could you please add my sisters in as Editors with the following passwords, like u did b4 with my 1st sister?

Hi there, it doesn’t look like your sisters have created their WordPress.com user accounts yet – they do need to do that first. Some of your desired usernames are already taken, as well, but they’ll see that as an error message when they sign up.
Each sister can go here to sign up for just a username:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1
They’ll need to check their email accounts for the confirmation message and be sure to click the link to activate their account.
Once that’s done for all four users, let me know and I can help you add them to the site as Editors.

sorry this is taking so long, but I finally had another sister get off the pot and accept her invitation and activate an acct. but still can not log on. Here is her info. Username is (email visible only to moderators and staff) Password is justicegirls7. Thank you
