I'm an administrator. I just got denied editing a page. Help!

  I’m an administrator. I just got denied editing one page, but it lets me edit others.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Can you send me a link to the page you were trying to edit? Also, do you remember the specific message you got when you were denied access to edit it?

  That will help me investigate this for you. :)

  Thanks for your help.

  The page is http://leym.org/news/leym-bulletins/.
  The message is “Oops! Something went wrong.
  Assigned author cannot publish post.”

  Thanks! I see that page was created by an author who isn’t a member of your site anymore. You can resolve that error by changing the author when you update the page:

  1. In the editor, open the Advanced Settings section in the sidebar.
  2. Under “Author,” open the dropdown menu and choose a new author for the page. (For example, you can select your own username there.)
  3. Make any other edits to the page, and then click the Update button.

  We’re looking into other ways to clear up that situation for you, but for now choosing a different author before you update the page will fix it. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
