  So, my website was built in Easy WP @ Namecheap.

  I thought my site was a wordpress site, I’m not so sure now. Is it?

  Would it better for me to transfer my domain name to the WP website?

  Hi,

  There are two ways to use WordPress. There is the fully hosted WordPress.com, and the self-hosted version, whose software is available for free at WordPress.org.
  The differences between the two are explained in detail here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  It sounds like you have built your website using the WordPress software.
