  I’m currently having trouble creating a blog post. Is WordPress under construction? Everything is loading and saving slow

  System uptime and server performance for WordPress.com is pretty robust. This slow performance may not be coming from the WordPress.com server-side.

  Slowness of loading and saving time can also be affected by the internet bandwith speed your computer is able to access.

  One thing to try could be connecting to a different internet network and see if performance speed is improved.

  If you continue to see the same performance issues regardless, please don’t hesitate to write in again, and additional investigation can take place.
