I'm getting a fatal error message and my site is down!

I think the update had something to do with it? I updated and am now getting this error message when I try to view and login to my site:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare the_post_thumbnail_caption() (previously declared in /home/content/75/9879775/html/electriceyecandy/wp-includes/post-thumbnail-template.php:244) in /home/content/75/9879775/html/electriceyecandy/wp-content/themes/vernissage/functions.php on line 1272

Aloha jinkim891564442, It looks like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress.org site instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

Yeah, that’s the site. I think my outdated theme was causing it. I had my provider restore to an earlier state and am doing that as a workaround for now. I’m going to contact the theme author to get her feedback. But thanks for responding Geoffrey and Liz!
