  Hi there, all sites here on WPcom are protected by Akismet spam filtering. If you are finding comments in your spam folder then its doing its job. If it misses spam and the comment makes its way to your pending folder, mark the comment as spam so that Akismet learns.

  If your site is not hosted here on WPcom and is using instead the open source WP software, you can ask for anti-spam plugin recommendations from the folks who use your software over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums If you don’t have a login for the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.
