I’m getting jacked around by being told that my blog isn’t on wordpress.com when it certainly looks like it.
Widgets keep disappearing for no good reason. All posts on disappearing widget amounts to mumbo jumbo on me, a non-geek.
I just can’t find a straight answer on why widgets disappear.
Generally speaking, support and forums have never been helpful.
I’m gonna’ move by blog to Blogger unless someone gives me a straight, easy-follow answer to my problem.

If that is the site you are talking about, your custom CSS is b0rked.
Where are the “sidebars” supposed to be? It appears as if you moved them to the bottom below the content.

Yes, I expect they are talking about http://renewwisconsinblog.org/ , but to figure out exactly what is going on, I need more information from them. They have done a complete CSS paste and then are using the “start from scratch” and there are issues with the CSS they created for the sidebars from what I can see.

Does the above response mean it’s really hosted on WordPress.org? I just need some plain-English help.
All the forum posts are just jumbled geek-speak.
Given the number of forum post on disappearing widgets, you’d think that the Happiness Engineers had a pretty good plain-English response.
You did see a duplicate thread, because I can’t understand much about Support, even though I’ve been using WP for a number of years. I rarely contact Support, but rather use a search engine to find an answer on a non-WP Web site.
Timethief,I have spent hours trying to find a forum answer or an answer using my favorite search engine to no avail.
Please get back to me as soon as possible.

2. thesacredpath (who examined your blog and who knows what he’s talking about) states that the CSS is messed up. When Staff answer you in the other Staff Questions forum thread here . https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/unhappy-with-happiness-engineers?replies=1 they will help you with the messed up CSS as the custom design upgrade comes with Staff support.
I’m sorry you have had such a frustrating time and I hope Staff will be able to help you soon.
