I'm having a problem with harassment/stalking

  Harassment
  Hi, I have one person who seems without a life who is harassing me non stop on social media networks and now here. There are several nasty comments submitted that I didn’t approve or delete and I woke up today to a hacking notice/password change.

  I need this person’s IP address and since he’s only doing this through here an social media, I don’t have access to it. Whenever I block him on Twitter, he just starts up another profile. 7 so far in the last 3 days.

  I’d also like him banned. But no info comes with the comments.
  What can I do about it?

  WordPress will not give out that kind of information without a court order, so get one.

  I want his ip BLOCKED from my page. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do that, like there is on other pages, like twitter and facebook. Unless I’m missing something?
  And this just started the other day. I don’t yet have a court order. I just want him to fuck off and leave me alone and NOT be able to read anything I post.

  Simple, no?

  There is no way to do that on a public blog. PS whatever Facebook and Twitter say, there is no way to do that there. I routinely read the tweets of people who’ve blocked me.

  You can change your blog visibility to “private”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Anyone can get an new IP in no time flat as you have already noted. Consult legal counsel and take legal action.
