I'm having an identity crisis.

Arrrrrrrrrg. On WordPress.com, I am vtclare. I am vtuke.wordpress.com. I am clareinnes.wordpress.com. I am vtrider. I am unable to find a clear explanation of how to go about getting a “{name}.wordpress.com” versus hitching one or more blog names to an existing “{name}.wordpress.com” configuration. This has resulted in wild guessing, which has in turn resulted in all these various identities of various types. The site is pretty opaque when it comes to explaining how things are tied together, what it means when you make certain choices when setting up a blog. Online help tends to focus on your software rather than your online presence.
1. I would like to make separate blogs for my separate interests, and not have my motorcycle audience have to go through my vtuke (ukulele) portal. Can I create a separate {name}.wordpress.com presence using my same email account? How could I do that for my vtrider id?
2. Where on your site do you explain stuff like this?
3. I have changed my password multiple times to try to get into clareinnes.wordpress.com. Each time, WordPress has accepted the password, but then won’t let me in. Gah. Help! Please?

1) yes. Go to the Manage My Blogs page and click to create a New Blog.
2) in the Support documents linked at both the top and bottom of every Forum page as well as on your dashboard http://support.wordpress.com/
3) Log out of this account and then log into that one.

I still cannot get into clareinnes.wordpress.com, even after entering that id into the “get a new password” box, following all the cues (for the -nth time). I even restarted my computer after trying to untangle this. Is there an administrative option?

Also, in response to 1), it appears that when you create a new blog, you are still stuck with the OLD {name}.wordpress.com address. I am looking to have separate addresses for separate blogs.
