I’m having issues with my wordpress identity

    I only want ONE identity. My name is John Doyle. Lately that has worked, until just now when I had to log in again [why??]. It seemed to refer to an earlier account – ejhr2015 which i no longer would like to use. I had to use it because my name ‘John Doyle’ was already taken [by me!!!] Just now I lost a blog response [Very annoying!] because of this sudden confusion, completely unnecessary. Ask me whatever you need but FIX IT!!!
    Don’t ask me to do it as It’s too confusing.
    Do it for me. You know about it and I don’t.

    OK, My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). It goes back 30 years and has not changed.
    I have been having issues for some years with WordPress.
    I started with my real name -John Doyle – and if I recall it seemed to work for a while.
    Then I received a log in request which rejected my password. Requesting a new one my name was rejected as “already taken” I assume by me.
    So I set up “ejhr2015” which worked until recently. The password was (redacted)
    Somehow, mysteriously, I was able to get my real name back [?] and for as long as there was no call to use my password I had no problem
    Today I received a sign up notification so I Filled in my name but the password which I tried was rejected – (redacted), That one seems to be linked with Ejhr2015 so I requested a new password. However the response was I couldn’t use my real name as taken, again
    This was too much hence my seeking help!!!

    PS – I’ve removed some sensitive information from the reply since these are public forums. They do get crawled by search engines. Just in case that information was used anywhere else I wanted to pull it out of here.
