I'm having issues with verifying my site thru Google console

    I upgraded my free account recently and had my domain mapped from godaddy to WordPress. Problem is now I cannot reach anyone at WordPress for help.
    I want to verify site ownership using Google console and I have tried the HTML code but I have no header box on my home page to paste it into? My home page just shows my latest blog posts.
    So I then try to verify it by signing into my domain site but since I have had my name transferred to WordPress from GoDaddy, Google does not include WordPress in their drop down menu of hosting?
    Help please!

    Jetpack and Yoast SEO plugin has site verification module. Try it!!
