I’m having trouble linking an outside website to a picture

    Hi!
    I was hoping to link a pic on our site to a website for the charity we are supporting. When I try to edit the link for the picture I keep getting an error. It seems that the link is actually trying to send people to a spot inside our website. The link has our site, and the page from which we have the picture, and then the site to which I’m trying to actually send people to. I just want the external link to be followable. How do I do that? Thanks in advance for any help!

    If you’re using the Image block, you can follow the steps here to add a link to an image inserted using the Image block.

    If you’re still getting an error, please try clearing your browser cache or temporarily using a different browser to see if that solves the issue. Here’s how to clear your browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

    If the issue persists, please let us know the following so we can take a look:

    1. The link to the post/page where you’ve inserted the image that you are trying to add a link to
    2. The link you’d like to add to the image.

    We’ll go ahead and try adding the link once we have the above.
