I’m having trouble logging in

    I’m having trouble logging in to the back part of my site to get the orders. I tried to change the password two different times and it has told me once I was blocked and the rest of the times that the site doesn’t’ work. What do I need to do?

    The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

    Hi there,

    Is it possible that your site was actually built with the WordPress software, often called as WordPress.org, and not with WordPress.com. If a site is not with WordPress.com they don’t keep any login info. Are you trying to use the yoursiteaddress/wp-admin to log in?

    If that isn’t working, your host may be able to help you make backups and use one of these recovery options:
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/resetting-your-password/

    To clarify, there are several providers of WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your question as it lies outside of WordPress.com’s system.
