I'm having trouble transferring my domain name

  I bought a domain name from wordpress.com but I want to change my blog over to wordpress.org. I have gone through all the necessary procedures to transfer my domain name to hostgator but hostgator says the domain has not been released.

  Can someone please advise me on what to do as this situation is getting a tad frustrating.

  I’ve approved the domain transfer on our end. You should be good to go now.
