I'm hosting mp3's without extra storage. how?

  I’ve just started a wordpress.com blog and have transferred over all old content from my wordpress.org site which I will soon close.
  As it was a music blogsite I had uploaded over 50 mp3s to the media of my wordpress.org site.

  After transferring across, all my mp3s are now included in the new content, playable and included in my media category in wordpress.com but i haven’t paid for the extra storage?

  Are the media files actually being played from my old address and will they disappear when i redirect servers? If so how do i upload them all again to the new site if they are already in the media category?

  Yes, if you hover over the button in “Wk.52 The end of an era” you will see that it is linked to the original website address.

  You might try getting the URL of one of the audio files on your site here and then using the audio player shortcode to see if it will play or not.
