I'm in Canada but the prices for my site are in Euro's, please change?

Hi,

I’d like to upgrade to WordPress Pro for this site but it keeps quoting me 99 euros for the upgrade, but on the WordPress site before I logged in it said $129 CAD. I live in and am from Canada and $129 is a lot less than 99 Euros. Could someone please fix my account so that it shows me as Canadian and not European?

Hi,
Is it possible that you’re using a credit card issued from another country? If so, staff says the currency detection is based on that: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/no-currancy-conversion-for-upgrades-themes-and-more?replies=19#post-1870284

If that’s not the issue, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance.

Thanks Micawbr – I read that thread and tried it but unfortunately even when I enter my Canadian credit card information it does not correct the pricing from EUR to CAD. I’ll add modlook to see if they can fix this.

Just as an update for modlook – I thought maybe I needed to purchase and it would correct the currency – I made a payment and it charged me in euros (as says my receipt.) I looked back at the account to see if it corrected my currency now that I had made a payment with a Canadian credit card, it did not, it still has everything listed in euros.
