Hi there,
You can try resetting your password here:
https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpasswordIf that doesn’t help, there’s a link on the second page of that process that will put you in touch with our account recovery team.

hello? can anyone read this? I am locked out of my blog … www,athomedietplans.com is there a way of getting back in?
-
No. You don’t understand. I am locked out. It isn’t that I have forgotten my password. I don’t know my username either … well I do, but there are 10 of them and all of them seem to be wrong.
-
No username or email address will work. Nothing will be accepted. Therefore I have nothing to retrieve my password.
-
Part of the problem was a username and password I invented for STP within my Godaddy account. I thought this was direct access to WordPress. But WordPress within Godaddy was just an installation bot. As for STP … I still don’t know what it is or how it is connected to WordPress?

It looks like our messages may have crossed.
As it turns out, your site AtHomeDietPlans.com is not hosted at WordPress.com, but is instead hosted on another provider using the software available at WordPress.org. That means we at WordPress.com do not have any access to your site and cannot assist you in regaining access to it.
Please refer to http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
You may wish to contact your hosting provider for more assistance.

Man oh Man. There must be a university churning out degrees in confusion. If I sat down and imagined how to design the most confusing system in the world I would still not be able to match the confusion of WordPress.
-
As I noted before, your site is not hosted on WordPress.com so we cannot assist you with regaining access to it. From a WHOIS it looks like your hosting provider is GoDaddy, so I would contact them for further assistance.
-
In other words, If you lock yourself out of a WordPress blog and it isn’t hosted by WordPress.com, there is nothing and no-one that can get you back in again?
-
Oh OK … GoDaddy. Yes I have all my sites hosted in GoDaddy … but I access some of them from WordPress … so that is the confusion. I’ll go back to GoDaddy and see if I can gain more clarity from them
-
WordPress is software that can be installed on a variety of hosting providers. WordPress.com is one of many hosting providers, but we don’t have access to sites running the software that are hosted elsewhere.
I know it’s frustrating, but only your own hosting provider – in this case, GoDaddy – can assist you.

OK I found the solution if anyone is interested. Here’s what to do. Go into the cPanel of your hosting account. Click on Php My Admin and click on the site name in the left hand index. Then look for “wp-user” and click “browse”. Then click on “edit” and the password file will appear. There’s even a drop down menu to encrypt the password. Open the drop down menu to the left and click on “MD5” and leave it in the window. You can even change your email address while you’re at it. Then select “GO” and exit. Do not touch anything else unless you know what you are doing or you will stuff up your website.
