I’M NEW AND I HAVE A QUICK QUESTION

Okay- so I made my blog- and I wanted to make it popular. Can the blogs that you dont
pay for make it just as big as the ones you do pay for? and, if i wanted to start paying for it- does everything on my site stay the same, but just more features?im actually still a little confused about the whole process.
But basically what I am asking is- what is the best way to get my blog out there with-
out paying. -
Only thing that realy matters is that you make it look good,good writing, and also advertise. I know my New England Patriots blog is more popular then some of the people who host it and have it custome made.

Ahem – let me try and get my mind around this. You started your blog in 2003 at myspaces, which is a social network where folks have very little actual written blog content, lots of photographs and are primarily using their blogs for the purpose of socially networking, right?
It’s now 2006 and you have duplicated and imported your myspace blog contents – photographs – here complete with music that I immediately noticed when I clicked on your about page.

just make sure you write something that most people search using their fav search engine, but make sure before that you already got your site listed on search engine first .. lol

yes, except for some features that is only available at wordpress.com like Graphical Stats, Feed Stats, etc

Email all the top entertainment sites and ask for a link exchange. Not everyone will email you back though. The fact that you show your face (if that’s you) and that you show up at these events, alot of the top entertainment sites that turned me down will probably accept you right away. But I’m climbing, I’m getting there.

One more thing. Try resizing your pictures or use thumbnails. I have high speed internet and had trouble getting through your site. And people with dial-up will appreciate it too and keep on coming back to your site.

Yeah I agree, also got high speed an it took forever to load. By the way love the pics of Rihanna, she so hot.

I agree you should resize the images on your site because before your site completely load i’ve already stop it because im still using quota based internet access and don’t want to waste my monthly quota by looking at large pictures (most people from my country are still using quota based internet access like me too), but im pretty sure your site already got alot of attention … you can try searching for yourself using google, yahoo, msn, etc

I actually did the page-break thing on some of the posts, where u have to click “more” to see to see the rest of the post… does that work? Will it make the page load faster? My
posts will only have 1-3 pictures now, and you’ll have to click the link to view the rest. dont know if this makes a difference or not though -
Your pictures are hosted at Photobucket. Select the pictures you want and then click where you see:
The ‘more’ option is good but I think the RSS feed that someone subscribes to doesn’t show what comes past that point though.

Pimp My Blog is good advice, but there are other options. Post on other celebsites, and leave your URL as a trackback: Gawker media allows this in your profile, so the next time they open up the comments, get in there. That’s just one example: Perez will let you leave a trackback whenever you leave a comment.
Just please, in the name of all that is holy, don’t leave a post that says “read my blog for more” because EVERYONE hates people like that. Post meaningful comments.

How can I write math equations within a blog? I found something about latexrender, but I do not how to set this up here at WP.com. I need some advice on how to write math equations within a blog.

The title of this thread ought to be “how to promote my entertainment blog” but as the original posting party was new and therefore it has a misleading title.
Would you please submit your question sbove as a brand new thread in the support forum witha descriptive title – “how to write math equations in blog”. If you do that then anyone who is skimming the titles and who may be able to help you will twig to answering your post right away. -
