  I set up a blog brandingunicorns… .wordpress.com
  then I see that i cannot customise menu.. so i read forum.. they say go to plugins… i didnt have plugins… they say make map domain – brandingunicorns.com .. i did … still no plugin but now im totally confused as I dont know where is my:
  1. brandingunicorns.com not to mention lack of plugin..

  i will go to wix…

  You are not reading the correct support docs. The only relevant ones are at http://support.wordpress.com. You are reading stuff that applies to WordPress.ORG software installs and you have a WordPress.COM blog so that’s why you are confused. Read this https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  The ubiquitous videos and tutorials online are not for WordPress.COM hosted blogs like yours. They are only for WordPress.ORG software installs.

  Please use the step by step WordPress.COM tutorial that Staff have linked to the bottom of your Admin page at http://learn.wordpress.com
