I’m NEW to this, how do I add “about the author” as a link on the main page?
-
my url is editorialproject.wordpress.com
Also, how do I add photos in each of the articles? It worked for the first one, and hasn’t worked since!?
So frustrating!
I want to be able to have an “About the Director”, or “About the film” on the right hand bar of the page but I have NO idea how to add it…
Please help!
Also if I want to upload 10 photos without text, how do I do that??
Thanks!

You want pages. Instead of clicking ‘New Post’, click ‘New Page’ in the same menu. Use these to write your ‘About’ sections. Then add the Pages widget to your sidebar. Et voila.
If you just have a very short amount to say, you could put it all in a Text widget in your sidebar.
(If you’re not sure how to add/edit widgets, see the support section.
Also, for future reference, it makes life much easier for the forum volunteers if you give a clickable link to your blog (starting with http) or link your username to your blog (instructions in the sticky thread ‘8 things to know before posting’ at the top of the forum).

http://editorialproject.wordpress.com/ – by including the http part, it makes the link clickable. And consider linking it to your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forums.
Seems that you need to spend a little time in the support area http://support.wordpress.com/ in order to reduce your frustrations.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I have another question, if I upload a photo and it’s in the media gallery, how can I then access it to add to the post? I’ve tried a million different ways and it’s not working!
Thanks so so much!!!

The way you would upload a new photo: post editor > click the Add an Image button > click From Library.
