I’m no longer an author for my own blog!
-
I just tried posting some information to my blog, but it didn’t let me publish, only “submit for review.” I was originally an author but I seem to have been demoted to a contributor. How can I get this fixed?
Some relevant information:
I have three blogs under the same user name. Could this change something?
I haven’t posted to this blog in more than a year. Is this what happens after a period of inactivity? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need to have the link to the specific blog you are having trouble with in order to begin to try and help you. Please post the complete URL starting with http://

Go to Users. There you should see a list of all of the users on your blog (which is probably just you). Click on the checkbox by yourself, and the dropdown menu saying change role. Try to change yourself back to an author.

That’s just it, I can’t follow the instructions on most of the other threads. My dashboard doesn’t look like others. I can’t find a place that says “users.” Is there an update I should have run at some point?

Perhaps you are looking at the global dashboard rather than the dashboard for your blog. Click this link and sign into the blog http://wwhapeuro.wordpress.com/wp-admin
Also if you are the founder of the blog then you are the Administrator. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

OOPS! I forgot to say first log out of wordpress, force clear your browser and clear your browser cache and cookies. Then sign in again directly to the blog.
