I'm not getting emails from the "contact form"

I inserted a contact form from the customize page for the contact us page and I have not been able to receive the test emails I have sent. Initially I didn’t fill out the email notifications part and then I added in a different email just to see if it would go through and nada.
Am I missing something?

Please confirm your email address http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/
Then also check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. And, I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Everything looks like its set up when I went through the support troubleshooting, and there isn’t anything in either of my emails spam boxes.
Thank you for flagging it for a staff member follow up! I’m sure its something simple I’m just missing.

Hi there,
You didn’t receive any emails because the tests you did were marked as spam by our spam filter. You can see those tests under Feedback > Feedback in your site’s dashboard here:
Tests like that can often be marked as spam. Can you please try entering a bit more text in the contact form when you try it out and see if it goes through that way?
