Have you checked the delivery setting?
You can change your settings to Immediate, Daily, or Weekly delivery, or opt-out of email notifications.

Yes, they’re marked as immediate. Incidentally, although I received an email with your response (and thank you), there is no notification of this on my WordPress site.

I can see in our records that the emails are going out. I hesitate to mention it because you say you’ve checked the other folders, but have you checked the spam folder?

Yes, I check it daily. Can you confirm the address you’re using. It’s correct on my profile, but just in case…

You can double check the address that we have on file via your Account Settings here:
https://wordpress.com/me/account
I checked our logs and can confirm that the last new post notification was emailed out to that address four days ago. There were also a few other emails sent out earlier last week.
If the email address that we have on file is correct, then please follow the steps in Google’s troubleshooter here:

I’m not sure how much information can be seen in this exchange between you and me – can you clarify that for me please? I’ve checked all of the above, and none of them seem to be the reason for this problem. I’d like to send you screen-shots in case I’m missing something but would like to know first that these will be private.
Also, please can you let me know the email address these messages would come from? Perhaps that way I’ll have additional means of looking for them!
