I’m not NEW to forums but I am to BLOGGING

  I have been told to start blogging to share information about my business, but I see in the “no-no” section that you can’t use blogs to advertise your business. If that’s true, what good is blogging? Any comments would be appreciated.

  I suggest looking at this FAQ and the included links within it. Each blogging platform has its own terms of service, and here at wordpress.com, advertising is not allowed. Other platforms may allow it. You can also hire a webhost, register a domain name and self-host a blog using the software from wordpress.org, and then you are wide open. You can cover the entire blog with adverts if you wish.
