I'm ready to upgrade

Hi everyone. I hope someone can help me since the last two times I requested help, I did not receive any response to my questions and it left me wondering if I had done something to tick you all off, although I can’t figure out what. If I did, my sincere apologies! I’m begging for your help, here :).
With that said..I am ready to upgrade to a paid wordpress account, but not yet ready to redesign aka the whole 9 yards, yet. Is there an upgrade where I’m still on wordpress.com but my url no longer contains wordpress.com and I can add the scripted widgets from my publishers program?
Also, if my url is new, will my readers be able to find me, aka a page that redirects them? I’m so confused as how to go about this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

When you purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade nothing changes except the URL. All the same restrictions and limitations still apply just as they did before.

There is no upgrade you can purchase for that here. You have to purchase web hosting and set up your own WordPress.org install to use them.
