I'm so lost creating a store front

I was looking for a website to set up a store and I bounced here at wordpress. I got the premium trial but I see nothing different in my admin panel. There’s no instructions, no nothing. I can’t find anything on what to do. What am I missing?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well, the website does not COME with instructions.

Also, WordPress.com is not where you want to build an e-store. You can only enable true ecommerce with the $300 a year upgrade bundle. If that’s not fitting your budget, you will have to get an externally hosted site and install software from WordPress.ORG in it.

And if you need lessons or guidance, the book WordPress for Dummies is actually pretty good. Lessons tend to be a lot more expensive. I charge $400 for a full day workshop, for instance.

Oh, thank you. Then this is way too sophisticated for my little craft business.

If it’s just a craft business you don’t need a whole ecommerce setup. You can do that at WordPress.com for free.

Just make a blog post with each item and use proper tags and categories so that people can click, say, Doorstops and get all the posts featuring doorstops, etc. And use the Paypal instructions here to enable people to pay: http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

All of that is free to use. Just start with http://learn.wordpress.com and go from there.

Thank you so much! I will read through all of this. I was just about to delete my blog and give up.
