I tried leaving the page, no change
I tried logging out, no change
What can I do -

My site is http://southpole.co.zaWhen I went back online yesterday it suddenly was fine, and the last update went through.
I’m not sure if you know, but we are having gross incompetence in South Africa with our electricity supply commission and have been having “load shedding” where they have been cutting off electricity supply for a few hours in different parts of the city at different times.
I realise that it could have been a wireless relay tower in an area of the city between my area and my domain host that was having no power.Where are you in the world?

we have colleagues from South Africa so yes, we’re aware about the electricity issues you’ve got there! We’re working from all over the world actually :)
As for your site, it is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with another company.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
