Im trying to buy a domain but the page wont recognize my state and city

  Hello, im trying to buy a domain for $18 dls a year, first step is to fill out my personal info name, number, country, state, city and adress.
  I fill out everything but when i put my country (Mexico) and the my state (Quintana roo) i get this mesage:

  The “State/Province” field is not valid for Mexico. Please use a valid ISO 3166-2 identifier.

  Which is weird, Quintana roo IS mexican state and it IS the one i live in.
  I really need tu buy my domain and i need this to work please.
