I'm trying to change my username

Hi there, the account with the username ‘alannabrahms1’ was an old personal account I used years ago. I changed the username from ‘alannabrahms’ today to make that username available again for a new wordpress account that I currently use. Now it is telling me ‘alannabrahms’ is not available, even though I just made it available. I’m wondering if I can change the username for the e-mail ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ to ‘alannabrahms’ rather than having it be ‘alannalive’? Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks

Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name.

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner.
