  Let me know what I can expect as far as frequency of postings, and whether or not I’m truly subscribed.

  Hi @ebrightwater, you can get a good feel for how often site owners are posting based on this page:
  https://wordpress.com/following/manage

  Notice it will say some of the sites listed there updated a few hours ago, whereas others have not updated for a few months.

  You’ll also see who you’re truly subscribed to there, and can manage email settings as you’d like for individual sites.
