I’m trying to launch my site, but launch button won’t work.

  I want to launch my site with only the free options. I have both options selected and when I click Launch nothing happens.

  Hi sophiavojta, if you’ll start here, you should have an option to skip the paid domain, and then choose the free plan:
  https://wordpress.com/home/

  If that is not working, can you let us know where it’s getting stuck?

  I am having the same problem – I go to Settings – General – Privacy – but the changes cannot be saved as I am given an error.

  @stotinka89 – what is the error you’re seeing exactly?

  Just to check, are these the steps being followed: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/#launch-your-site ?

  Thanks for your prompt reply. Actually, the Launch is done, I cannot make the site Public, it gives an Unexpected error. AlsoI cannot make any changes in the Settings Menu due to the same error.

  @stotinka89 – Is the site you are working on at https://pinjobs.eu/ ? If so, I checked the settings of your Business plan site there and see Settings > General > Privacy set to “Public”.

  A couple of questions we need your help with:

  1. If you visit that URL, what do you see there?

  2. Or, can you see the home page, but a specific page or section is not public that needs to be?

  If you are referring to a different site, let us know that URL please. :)
