I'm trying to make a post NOT sticky anymore – HELP!
-
By accident I made a post ‘sticky’ the other day and now I can’t make it NOT sticky. Please help me figure out how to do this. I can follow directions pretty well, but I have no idea why I can’t just click on the sticky button to get it to stop being sticky again. This would be a GREAT fix, in my opinion! Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go into the edit post screen. On the right Tool Bar under Publish, you should see the Visibility section. Click on that and you’ll note the checkbox on sticking the post on the front page. Uncheck the box and click update. You should be all set.

I need to unstick a post, too, but the Edit Visibility feature, which is an eye icon, only gives 3 options, Public, Private and Password Protected. I can’t find any option to unstick, either.

yes, in the new wordpress layout (which is much worse to me in comparison to the previous one), we can’t find the option to ‘unstick’ the post! how to do it?
-
and how to make a post sticky? apparently there is no option in the ‘visibility’ section. thanks!

I believe this is a known issue in the new editor https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/editor-feedback?replies=749 but that it does not exist in the classic editor.
You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
