I'm trying to restore my home page

    My home page has changed from what is called my ‘welcome’ page to a random blog page. I can’t delete this blog page so I can’t even start again. This domain address is needed by a school assignment so I can’t change that unfortunately.
    I’ve tried so many avenues of support and gotten no feedback, please what can I do?

    Additionally, I have chosen the theme ‘gateway’ and can’t seem to get rid of the search bar option on my welcome page. If I want a centre alignment with no sidebar apparently I have to have this search bar. I don’t want it, it’s superfluous. I can’t find an option to remove it.
