I’m trying to start a new website and i want to know about domain name.

    Hey, let’s start this. I already have a website, my domain name is on a server and they have template too, just like WordPress but i want to change. This is my questions:
    1. Can i transfer my domain name to a new web hosting? I really like this name and i’ve been using it for 8 years now. People know me from this site and i don’t want to change.
    2. What happen when you use a web hosting site that don’t support WordPress. Bluehost and Hostgator seem good but it’s so expensive. I have my eyes on some web hosting now but it doesn’t support wordpress. I want to know the consequences.
    3. If i can use my original domain name without a problem, can i change my 123.wordpress.com to my original domain name?

    Of course. That’s one of the nice things about owning a domain: it’s yours, and you can point it to whatever host or services you choose.

    What happen when you use a web hosting site that don’t support WordPress

    You might not be able to use WordPress there.
