im trying to switch from one theme to another

    im currently using i theme from wordpress and a bought a theme from themeforest and i tried to import the theme (.xml file). the content of the new theme shifted to my website but theme didnt change.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    WordPress.com doesn’t support uploading custom themes; this article http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/ should point you in the right direction.

    thanks a lot bobbol for the tip. i bought a domain and got a web host via go daddy. i managed to upload the theme “nemesis” with its content but i’m facing so much problems editing the content. for example one of the pages which will be my portfolio, has sliding images. you can view all the art works or by category ( that’s when the images slide). i’m not able to change the images. every time i do, it comes out as normal post and not part of the sliding images. im sorry if i wasn’t clear, I’m new and completely lost :S

    WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. We do NOT provide any support here at WordPress.COM for WordPress.ORG software. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
