I'm unable to add HTML into the Widget

    For some reason I am unable to add HTML into the sidebar . Here is what I’m trying to add and it’s only showing as text .

    For security reasons, we don’t allow many types of code on WordPress.com and javascript is one of them. Malicious or just poorly written code is insert in to widgets like that, so we don’t allow it at all.
