Im using a WordPress Theme and cant find my home page in pages

Hi, I am designing a website on WordPress through Bluehost. My query is in the pages section I have 7 pages. But my front or HOME page I want to edit is not showing up in the pages section. I checked the post section just in case … But not there either. I cant work out where it could be. Any idea how to locate this?

    Hi there,

The forum you’re currently posting is for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

For help with your self-hosted site, please refer to https://wordpress.org/support/ .

But, since you’re already here, I can give you a hint – did you check the trashed pages, or draft pages? Perhaps your Homepage got deleted or set to draft by accident?

    Cheers

    Hi,
    Thank you for the reply.

I think it is the Theme I am using. You can go to the homefront page from the “Visit site” link and make changes to it. Add the menu etc. it’s confusing though because once you click on a menu link you cant get back?

Very odd but I’ll have to live with it for now. I am very new to this.

FYI – I have a wordpress site so when I searched for FORUMS this came up and I was logged in so I wasn’t aware of the crossover. Thanks for the heads up.

    Hi,

I’m glad if I could help.

If you suspect this might be a theme issue, you could try find theme support in Theme Directory – https://wordpress.org/themes/
Search for theme you’re using, click on “More info”(when hover the theme screenshot) and then click on “View support forum” in the theme page sidebar.

    Best regards
