I'm wondering if switching back to Blog from Site would get more traffic?

    I currently have my “blog” set as a “site” so that I can have a landing page so readers will know what is what and where and all pertinent info. However, I’m wondering if I would get a bit more traffic if I switched it back to “blog” so that readers wold see the latest post straight away?
    The problem I think though is that I kind of need or want to keep the landing page.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
