Hello,
I’ve run out of ideas of how to remove the default image that is shown whenever I link my homepage on social media channels or anywhere. This image is part of a gif that used to be on my homepage, but ever since I noticed it got picked up as the default image, I’ve removed it from the homepage and deleted it from my Media library entirely, and yet the image somehow still appears as linked to my website. It looks unprofessional and I don’t want it to be associated with my website. How do I get rid of this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi There,
Could you please share more details of which image you are getting as default when you provide your homepage link on social media? I could check one png format image getting as preview which I can find on your homepage of website dianamarin.com.

I found an answer by searching in this forum for ‘facebook image’, https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/facebook-image-4/

It’s a cropped image of myself, dressed in black, on a white background, with my hand on my shoulder, wearing a bracelet. This is an image from the animated gif that I have since deleted from the Media Library. If you add the link on Facebook for instance, you can only see that cropped image showing half of my face, ending somewhere above my waist.

I had deleted my Cache and all cookies and still had this problem, so perhaps it’s just a Facebook thing.
Ok, I tried the suggestion from the thread linked by @staartmees, and weirdly the results that come up when I add my website include that gif, so supposedly it’s still on WordPress somehow, even though it’s not longer in my Media Library? Not sure what’s going on. Also, there is some inaccurate info there (on https://developers.facebook.com/tools) about my website name under og:site_name.

Thanks @staartmees for sharing additional information. I checked on whatsapp and it was showing this image:-
Now on the FB developer tool getting the correct preview.
