I want my gravatar to show up on my comments but it is not. I uploaded it a week ago and it shows in my wordpress profile, but does not show up when I make comments.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey altheaelmore,
It looks like your website is self-hosted and pointing to name servers other than WordPress. I would suggest you put up your query at WordPress.org support. Here is the link.
https://wordpress.org/support/
To know more about WordPress Platforms, please check out this link.
Regards,
Rahul -
Not every site one comments on is a gravatar enabled site.
Setting that aside, letitbedone.org is hosted by CyrusOne
Name Servers:
ns1.lodulaal.com
ns2.lodulaal.comThat site is not on our WordPress.COM servers. We cannot help you with it. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get support for it.
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites.
Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting
(3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page

@altheaelmore, Please refer to @timethief’s response. It is quite elaborative and informational.

@irahulverma
Hi there,
Your response was good. I just wanted to be sure this blogger knew that not every site one comments on is a gravatar enabled site. Some people dislike gravatars and disable the display on their sites, and some sites do not have gravatar capability at all.
And I wanted to ask this question roo: What is the URL of the post you commented on that did not display a gravatar?

Thanks :)
That is the reason I asked the blogger to refer to your response. I also learn from your answers.
Warmly,
Rahul -
@irahulverma
Aha! Understood now. Ghosting threads of Staff members and experienced Volunteers can be a very helpful career building move. Best wishes to you, Rahul. -
@timethief,
Indeed it is. But a person with your experience, it is incomparable (not a praise but a fact). I have ghosted how nicely you portray your responses with support links. That is one thing I am picking up from you.Thanks for the wishes.

@timethief Thank you, sorry for posting this on the wrong form, I clicked support and this is what it directed me to. I will go to the wordpress.org form. Here is one of the posts that it is not showing on: http://www.letitbedone.org/teaching-kids-about-virtue/ which is my own blog, and I was commenting through my WordPress admin dashboard. Thank you both for your help.
