  why is the image on the site black and white?

  Hi @nazma2021, this theme is designed to have a black-and-white overlay.

  You can change it to other colors, or remove it altogether. Click edit site, click on the image (right now it will show in color) and click the dotted circle to change the duotone filter.

  You can either clear it altogether, or adjust the colors as you’d like. Just do that wherever you’ve got a grey image you don’t want.
