Image added but not visible on blog post

Hello, I am quite new to the blogging world and I need a bit of help. I have created several pages for my site, I have launched it and made the site private. Access is working fine for my viewers and there is no issue with the pages so far (still work in progress). I am trying to publish my first “post” with both photos and text.
Post 1.
I have tried adding photos in various ways, whether upload from my computer, from Google photos, from my media library, and also in different block formats too, whether media and text, image alone, compare images, etc. I have also tried putting the image I want as the featured image and also tried without putting the featured image. Everything I try, I cannot see the image when I publish the post, and none of my viewers can see it either.
I have looked at all the WordPress.com forum help pages for adding images but I can’t see anything that would help me. I have also found several forum questions about this subject, but the solutions don’t seem to help me.
I would really appreciate your assistance on this so I can manage the rest of my blog posts more easily.
