hi, when i edit in my blog’s ‘book’ page/tab images seem to align nicely in a row, but once i publish it, it comes out all distorted. i tried ‘left alignment’ and ‘no alignment’ but nothing seems to work. it keeps posting single images as centered. does that make sense? please help! thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

just to add – i would like to link each image to a blog entry (so galleries and slideshow template isn’t what i need). is there an easy template i could use to continue to add images as the contents in the “books” page grows? (i’m super new to css)

@d1000, I would suggest exploring the Display Posts Shortcode, which can be configured to include only a title and a thumbnail image, and can be set to show only a certain category of posts. Just add that category to the book posts you wish to show on the “books” page.

I would suggest creating a draft page and add the following shortcode to it and see if this will work for you. If it does, then you can replace the content of your “books” page with the below shortcode.
    [display-posts category="books" image_size="thumbnail"]

@d1000, I should mention that this will not put the images in rows, but in one single column, but give it a try and see what you think.

Rows of images can be tricky to do on responsive designed themes such as Hive.

Have you considered assigning a unique category to the books you wish to have on that page and then linking to that category in your menu. As an example, if you have not seen it, here is a link to the “books” category page on your siteL https://d1000.wordpress.com/category/books/
