image alignment

    Hi there, I’m a new user to wordpress.com and I’m currently setting up a new blog.

    I’m having some trouble with aligning an image nicely in my first blog post. I found this help article with some information on how to achieve this. When I try to edit my blog, the editor looks different than what I see in the article, and I’m not able to let the text align nicely with my image. Is this article out of date? or a I doing something wrong?

    Is this article out of date?

    That depends upon which editor you’re using. If you’re using the Block Editor, then the animated gif in the Aligning Images section of the Image Block support page is probably more accurate regarding the appearance of the editor than the illustrations in the Image Alignment support page, which I believe refer to the so-called Classic Editor.
