Image alignment beiog lost in Classic editor

    Recently find that my usual setting of centred images is being cancelled when I publish a post written using Classic editor.

    This has been fine for years, but now that I am being pestered by the heading message to use the horrible new Block editor (that box needs an ‘X’ button to dismiss it!), it seems that there is now an irritating bug in Classic.

    This seems to happen every time I publish a post where I have inserted a new uploaded image, which I always centre.

    Yet when I look at the published post, the image has no alignment and has been pushed to the left of the text.

    I have to open the post, edit the image alignment to centre again, and then save the change. Once changed, the alignment sticks OK.

    I use Firefox and Windows.
