Image Alignment on Ipads

I am having a problem with Image Alignment within the post. If I choose to center the image it appears just fine on the computer, but when I pull it up on the ipad it centers the image over the whole container, not just the content area. What coding do I add to my CSS so that the ipad will recognize that the image should be centered within the content area not over the whole container area?
All help is very much appreciated. My wife wants to start adding content today so I need to make sure it is ready for her.
